Blas are delighted to announce a new partnership with the wonderful charity Live Music Now (Scotland).  Live Music Now aims to provide young musicians with paid performance opportunities and support in professional development at the start of their careers; to help people access the joy of live music in venues such as schools for children with special needs, centres for adults with physical and learning disabilities, homes for older people, young offenders institutions, prisons, hospitals and hospices.

Three young, talented Blas artists (Sarah Naylor-fiddle, Kathleen Graham-Song & Clarsach & June Naylor-Clarsach) will be giving private performances  at  the following venues during Blas.  Shiel Bridge Village Hall  (for Acharacle Primary School and families);  Uig Primary School, Skye; Taigh na Drochaid, Portree, Skye (older people and adults with learning disabilities); The Haven, Idrigill, Uig, Skye (residential home for elderly people).
